Eyefi gets serious about its photo cloud

WiFi cameras are very popular. It makes sense: people hate messing with SD cards and cables — one reason why Eyefi's WiFi SD cards are so popular (the #1 brand, in fact!). Still, most serious photographers have more than one camera — and of course their smartphone camera is increasingly important.

So, where do all these photos end up? Many people struggle with this: they have the photo app that came with their computer (these apps on two or more computers). Then they have the app that came with their WiFi camera. And let's not forget their photo cloud app — ranging from basic (Dropbox) to more advanced (Amazon, Apple, Google, et al). And then videos: what about those?

All these digital lockers, scattered across machines and clouds. How do you fix this mess?

Today, Eyefi made it much easier for people with WiFi cameras, and everyone else, to manage their photos (and now: videos too!) — no matter which device was used to shoot them.
