Manufacturers are facing a costly and disruptive problem as some of their most experienced and knowledgeable workers are nearing retirement: as these skilled workers leave, knowledge leaves with them. Unfortunately, the pandemic is actually speeding up retirement decisions.

Across the industry, manufacturers like Stanley Black and Decker (SBD) are searching for creative ways to instruct, train, and update the next generation with the knowledge they need to succeed in an increasingly high-tech environment. The ultimate goal is to capture the expertise of outgoing workforce, gain an understanding of the tricks of their trade and know-how with hopes of transferring these invaluable skills to the next generation.

IndustryWeek profiled how DeepHow is helping manufacturers like SBD dramatically simplify the complex and costly process of creating training videos that capture trade skills and expert know-how.
