So many (what you think are excellent) pitches go absolutely nowhere, and you wonder why.

Was the pitch too long? Too short? Not interesting enough? Crappy subject line? Did it end up in the dreaded spam folder?

You just never know.

But every now and then, you’re fortunate enough to see your pitch land with an editor who has the time, likes the concept, runs with the idea, and perfectly captures the story.

This feature story about BioCube in BioProcess Online is one of those moments

After pitching BioProcess editor Matt Pillar on BioCube’s recent announcement about its rapid expansion, we received an enthusiastic response. Working closely with BioCube’s interim CMO, Jane Lalonde of MatchCMO, we set up an interview for Matt with BioCube founder and CEO Tony Gonzalez.

Matt was kind enough to send over some questions so Tony and Jane could prep for the call. I wasn’t on the call but I heard it went well.

So then this week we were thrilled to see Matt’s feature on BioCube. It opens with a sentence that draws you in:

If you’re a partner tenant at the Silicon Valley biotech incubator San Jose BioCube and you find yourself with a facilities problem, just call Oscar.

If you’re interested in learning more about BioCube and how it’s serving the needs of fast-track biotechs in Silicon Valley, or if you’d just like a good read, I invite you to check out the story over on BioProcess Online.
